Several owners in the Sunlife section have reported a humming or vibrating noise coming from the air-conditioning unit in the master bedroom.
The noise is usually most noticeable at night when the system is running at a low fan speed. In some properties, the vibration appears to come from the ceiling grille rather than from the air-conditioning unit itself.
One owner resolved the issue by having the installer:
- Tighten the ceiling grille
- Add vibration-resistant material around the mounting points
- Check the fan motor and internal ducting
- Rebalance the airflow between the bedroom and bathroom
The inspection took approximately one hour and no major replacement parts were required.
Owners experiencing the same issue are advised to record a short video while the room is quiet. This makes it easier for the technician to understand the problem, as the noise may not always occur during a daytime inspection.
